Normal Two night minimum - One night exceptions made. The online system will allow one night reservations when it is an option.
Weekend stays require both Friday and Saturday nights. No Saturday arrivals or departures. Three nights may be required on some holidays.
Travel Insurance will be offered during the online reservation process. It is strongly recommended guests purchase as we strictly follow our cancellation policy. Travel insurance can also be used in the event inclement weather prohibits travel.
Comfort in the Woods cabins is located in Hocking Hills which is a remote part of Ohio. We are limited to our access of utilities, such as cellular signals and internet access. WiFi is currently not available in our area. Most cellular companies have very limited coverage throughout the entire area. We can not guarantee you will have cell service or internet service. Please plan accordingly.
Cabin rates include 2 guests. All additional guests (age 2 ) have a charge of $20/person/day. Each cabin has a maximum number of guests allowed.
We are a pet friendly business. There is a pet fee of $50/pet with a two pet maximum (2 pets = $100). Owners are responsible for the cleanup of their pets and asked to keep pets off of furniture. Pets should not be left alone to roam the cabin freely. Your pet is welcome to many places in Hocking Hills but if you plan to leave your pet alone, please bring a crate for the safety of your pet and our cabins. Excess cleaning from pets can result in extra cleaning fees. We love to travel with our pets but are always respectful of future guests by keeping our pets maintained.
50% deposit required to hold a reservation with the balance due 1 week prior to check-in.
All cancellations must be made in writing (emailed).
20% cancellation fee for reservations canceled more than 21 days prior to arrival date.
50% cancellation fee for reservations canceled less than 21 days prior to arrival date.
100% cancellation fee for reservations canceled less than 7 days prior to arrival date. (No refund)
All guests must be at least 21 years of age or have a parent or guardian staying with them.
Please be aware that you are coming to stay in a true log cabin in the middle of the woods. While we have our cabins treated on a regular basis, it is likely that you will see insects during your stay. We are not able to refund your reservation if you see bugs or spiders during your stay. You are entering their environment.
No cancellations due to inclement weather. Our driveways are short and typically do not have any issues in bad weather as we do our best to maintain them. It is the responsibility of the guests to get to and from the cabins. If you are concerned weather may be an issue with your reservation than it is highly recommended you purchase the travel insurance offered at the time of the reservation.
Check-in after 4:00 PM. Please, no early check-ins Check-out by 10:30 AM.
Absolutely no hunting, no ATV’s, no weapons, including paintball guns or air guns and no fireworks.
No smoking inside the cabin.
We will react as quickly as possible to restore any amenity such as hot tub, appliances, fireplaces but do not guarantee complete restoration during your stay and will not result in any refund. This is highly unlikely however out of our control as things can and do malfunction. Loss of electricity, water or any "Act of God" is outside our control and will not result in any refund.
All guests and visitors must be registered with Comfort in the Woods and paid for prior to arrival. We do not allow non- registered people & pets on the property and they will be asked or forced to leave. Each cabin has a maximum number of paid guests and pets allowed. All extra guests must pay for the entire stay.
Our cabin properties were created to provide a quiet atmosphere for our guests. We do not allow any parties and loud music.
